The Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant chain grows alongside Hilbers Inc.’s expanding restaurant construction business

Hilbers Inc. is a restaurant construction general contractor with the experience and resources to work with national chains like Buffalo Wild Wings. This restaurant in Lynnwood WA was completed in April of 2012. The project was run by Glenn Hilbers. We currently have built 7 BWW’s.

Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 after James Disbrow, then living in Buffalo, New York, came to Kent, Ohio, to judge an amateur figure skating competition at Kent State University in 1981. He met up with his good friend Scott Lowery and went looking for a place to get authentic Buffalo-style chicken wings. Unable to find one, they decided to open up their own restaurant, first in Columbus, Ohio, and then in Westerville, Ohio one year later. Originally called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, from which the abbreviation BW3 was created (the third W was for the beef on weck sandwich), the restaurant became a franchise; as of December 27, 2009, it had 652 locations (232 directly owned by the company, and 420 franchised locations) across 45 U.S. states. Hilbers Inc. has a deep portfolio of restaurants. In addition, we have over 50 years of experience in all types of commercial construction.  For additional restaurant construction projects by Hilbers Inc., click here.
