UFC Gym at Mililani Town Center – Commercial Renovation in Oahu, HI
Located in the bustling Mililani Town Center of Oahu, this UFC Gym (BJ Penn) is the third health club construction project completed by Hilbers, Inc. in the state of Hawaii. Offering classes, programs, training, and a healthy community to members of all ages, UFC Gyms provide an opportunity for members to increase their quality of life.
Partnering for Excellence
For this commercial renovation, Hilbers, Inc. partnered with the Executive Vice President of New Evolution Ventures (NeV), Mike Feeney. NeV is a global leader in acquisition and development of domestic and international fitness endeavors, including multiple UFC Gym and Crunch Fitness facilities.
While some fitness center construction projects are built from the ground up, many are repurposed facilities such as this one. Lead by Glenn Hilbers and Project Manager Denny Frazer, the shopping center location for this new UFC Gym required the remodeling of 29,734 square feet of commercial space.
Extensive Experience Ensures Safety and Continuity
As an experienced health club contractor, Hilbers Inc. has completed a large number of fitness center and gym construction projects across the United States. The renovation of existing structures, especially in an occupied shopping center, is quite different from new construction. In order to maintain a safe work area and to avoid interrupting business for other merchants, a clear plan with constant supervision of all work is imperative. Hilbers Inc. has a large portfolio of projects successfully completed in existing complexes that remained open throughout the construction.
A Healthy Future
Now that there are three UFC Gym facilities in the Honolulu area, the company has established a strong base from which to share their healthy lifestyle philosophy to more of Hawaii. The Hilbers Inc. team looks forward to supporting UFC Gyms, Crunch Fitness, and New Evolution Ventures in a healthy future of facilities across Hawaii and the continental United States.
