Giving Thanks: What We’re Grateful for at Hilbers

November is a time to reflect on gratitude and the things that matter most. What we’re grateful for at Hilbers goes far beyond the projects we build — it’s about the people and communities who make our work meaningful. This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for our team, our clients, our partners, and the communities where we build. Our gratitude is rooted in relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence in construction.

Thankful for Our Team

We are proud of the dedication and skill of every Hilbers employee. From project managers to field crews, each person brings expertise and heart to every project. Teamwork drives our success, and employee ownership strengthens our culture. Whether our team is tackling projects in our backyard in Yuba City, Franklin, or beyond, every contribution helps us deliver quality construction that meets our clients’ needs and supports the local community. Our team is the backbone of everything we accomplish, and their commitment makes a difference both on and off the job site.

Thankful for Our Clients

Giving thanks at Hilbers starts with our clients who trust us with their projects. From restaurants to retail, hospitality, and public works, our work spans industries — each with its own unique challenges. Our clients rely on us to deliver solutions, and we value the relationships built through collaboration, communication, and shared goals. Their trust empowers us to innovate and create spaces that serve communities for years.

Thankful for Our Partners and Subcontractors

Vendors, subcontractors, and partners are key to project success. We thank those who bring expertise, reliability, and precision to every job. Long-term relationships and collaborative efforts with partners like Big S Asphalt ensure smooth operations from start to finish, servicing Yuba City and Northern California. As a company, we value these partnerships and the dedication that comes with them.

Thankful for Our Communities

What we’re grateful for at Hilbers goes beyond the job site — it’s the communities where we build. Each project we take on helps create jobs, improve access, and strengthen local economies. While we’ve built in more than 30 states, one recent project close to home reminded us just how meaningful our work can be. The Holiday Market in Plumas Lake serves as the community’s first full-service grocery store, helping to end its status as a food desert. Making a lasting, positive impact through construction is something we’re proud to be part of every day.

Giving Back This Season

At Hilbers, giving back is part of who we are. Our team volunteers, sponsors local events, and supports charitable causes throughout the year, including the Alzheimer’s Association,Pink October, and The Salvation Army. Our team participated in the 12 Bridges Rib Cook-Off, volunteering their time and supporting local vendors. Thanksgiving is a reminder to extend that care and support. Acts of service create stronger, more connected communities for everyone.

Building Gratitude This Thanksgiving

We are thankful for our employees, clients, partners, and communities this Thanksgiving. Their dedication, trust, and collaboration make every project meaningful. Gratitude guides our work and strengthens relationships across every job site. We invite you to celebrate the season with us, share what you’re thankful for, and learn more about Hilbers’ ongoing projects. Together, we build stronger communities, one project at a time.

We’re building relationships and buildings built to last.
