Career Training Center

Sutter County Superintendent of Schools had a goal of having a multitude of activities occurring in one convenient location. The Career Training Center design build project was their solution to achieving this immense goal. The multi-leveled building includes: classrooms, curriculum specific lab spaces, special education spaces, job placement offices for training, and a large flexible space conference room. The Sutter County Superintendent hoped to design these spaces in a flexible way, so each space is easily able to adapt to the county's changing needs in the years to come. The classroom spaces have the ability to be used as an additional classroom for high school students, if necessary, in the future. This revolutionary educational site does not just start on the inside of the building as the site work included a large parking lot for staff and students, sidewalks for access to the building and public right of way, a battery energy storage system, and a trash & recycling enclosure. Once this project is completed we hope to have helped the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools achieve their goal of having all their activities in one convenient location for years to come.
