Lake County Tribal Health Southshore Clinic

Hilbers Inc played a pivotal role in the development of the Lake County Tribal Health Consortium’s Southshore Clinic in Clearlake, CA—bringing a vital, culturally significant healthcare facility to the community. Designed as a beacon of care and wellness, the clinic integrates architectural elements that reflect the traditions of the Tribes of Lake County while addressing a critical need for accessible healthcare services in the region. Hilbers collaborated closely in creating an efficient, compact layout, with provider spaces arranged in pods around central bullpens to optimize workflow and improve patient access. The facility features 10 exam rooms and two treatment rooms within four medical pods on the first floor, and 10 dental operatories on the second floor. Additional amenities include a laboratory, pharmacy, and a flexible meeting/training room equipped with a teaching kitchen and movable partition wall. Hilbers also managed the installation of a complex underground stormwater system to support the site’s infrastructure. This project highlights Hilbers Inc’s dedication to delivering innovative, community-focused healthcare solutions that blend functionality, culture, and purpose.
