Hilbers Inc is honored to be part of the transformation of Theodore Judah Elementary School in Sacramento, where historical charm meets modern sustainability. The design thoughtfully reinterprets classic Spanish Mission architecture through arched corridors, decorative ceramic tiles, and wood-clad balconies, preserving the school's historic character while introducing contemporary functionality. Native landscaping and integrated bioswales manage stormwater naturally, while also enriching the campus with outdoor learning opportunities. The result is a vibrant, sustainable educational environment that connects students to both their community and the natural world.
