When it comes to working on Public Works projects, we understand the importance of completing state-of-the-art construction at a lower cost. As a family-owned and operated commercial contractor company, we bring more than 60 years of design-build and project management experience to each of our projects. Although we’re based in Northern California – and rated one of the top 15 Northern California Commercial General Contractors – we’re also a national general contractor. We’re currently licensed in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. We also offer our general contracting services in several right-to-work states that don’t require general contractor licensing.
Our extensive experience has enabled us to work with many different municipalities, government entities, and school districts. We understand the complexities of public works projects and the importance of controlling costs, schedules, and quality to get the most for our clients’ public funds. Whether you need a minor remodel or want to build something from the ground up, our goal is to bring value and integrity to each client’s project.
We’re excited to share some of our completed public works projects with you here!
Elem Indian Community Center – Clear Lake CA
The Elem Indian Colony of Pomo Indians is based on 50 acres, located between Clearlake Oaks to the north and Clearlake to the south in Northern California. The Elem Indian Colony reservation was originally formed under the name Sulfer Bank Rancheria. We had the privilege of working with this Native American community to construct the Elem Indian Community Center in Clear Lake. This 3,150 sq. ft. building was funded in part by federal Housing & Urban Development Indian Community Development Block Grant funds awarded to the tribe. The Elem community was also the focus of a clean-up operation by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which aided in community efforts and new infrastructure.
This community center is located in the heart of the rancheria, offering various social services such as housing and commodities distribution, a tribal historian, and an office for tribal leadership.

Gauche Aquatic and Community Park
Truly a gem in the Yuba City community, Gauche Aquatic Park features a 10,000 sq. ft building with an enclosed reception area, first aid station, and multipurpose rooms. We also worked with them to create a unique aquatic center to meet the community’s needs. This includes a 25 x 25 yard, 10-lap competitive pool, a pool that goes from zero to three feet with a “sprayround,” and a 25-foot state-of-the-art water slide! We also built mens’ and womens’ locker rooms.
The stunning Gauche Park adjacent to the Aquatic Facility features expanded picnic and BBQ facilities, climbing boulders, horseshoe pits, a small stage, and several different play structures to entertain kids of all ages.
